Friday Update

Dad was moved up to the 12th floor of the Intermountain Medical Center and will be there for 3 to 5 weeks, until his feeding tube comes out and he is able to transfer himself back and forth from his wheelchair. He has a very long road ahead of him to recover. He will be having 8 types of therapy everyday that we as a family will be a part of. They can not even give us an idea of when he will be able to walk or use his right side again. He fed himself again today which is great. They said that he can have as many visitors as will fit in his room, so if you would like to come see him, he would like that. Visiting hours are between 4 and 8 p.m. every day, and I believe all day Sunday. You can also call during that time period, but we don't know how long it will be before he would actually be able to talk to you on the phone, his ability to verbalize is still very limited. We can't thank you enough for all your faith, prayers, and fasting on his behalf. I know this is why we have seen so much progress in him already, and why his spirits are still up today even with knowing now what he has ahead of him. Please feel free to write here on the blog or to e-mail dad and mom. They would love to hear from you, and it made both of them very teary eyed today to read the messages they have already received. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Please continue to remember him in your prayers, we love you all so much!
