Park Valley Branding

Our annual trip out to Park Valley is something that the whole family looks forward to all year and this year was no exception. It was especially meaningful for all of us to see dad being able to get around and enjoy being out there with us. He continues to improve, he continues to walk with his walker but has also ventured to walk without it every once in a while. Dad is becoming more independent everyday which makes things a lot easier for mom. Their lives are starting to get back to more of a normal routine, except for mom doing the driving, which once dad is able to drive again, mom will gladly relenquish in order to be a passenger. Dad's speech therapist is very pleased with dad's progress lately, he is starting to really take off with it, dad's sentences are becoming more complete all the time and making more sense. He says that when he reads, it is making more sense to him now. He still has some funny sentences come out every once in a while but we are usually able to decifer what he means. He has such a great mental attitude and I think he can see the light at the end of this very long tunnel he has been in.
